Warwick Farm
A 2.25 mile/3.62 km circuit built within the grounds of Warwick Farm
racecourse in New South Wales, Warwick Farm opened in 1960. Its first big
meeting was the Tasman Cup in January 1961, and it continued to host a round
of the international series through until 1970. At this point the Tasman
series stopped being an international series, and crowd numbers dropped off.
The track continued until 1973, when the track closed after CAMS required
the track to be lined with Armco, and the work was not carried out.
