At the end of 2005, MotorSport Vision submitted plans to extend the track distance by one mile, creating two new loops and bringing the track up to international standard. The plans are shown above, but they were not actually implemented.
At the end of 2010, MotorSport Vision submitted new plans yet again (shown above) to create three circuits. The longest, to be known as the Snetterton 300, is 2.99 miles long. The second circuit, largely based on the circuit existing in 2010, is to be known as the Snetterton 200 and is 2.00 miles long. The third circuit, to be known as the Snetterton 100 and to be used for a track school, corporate events, track days and testing, is 0.98 miles long - it follows the link between corners three and seven on the map above to form an inner loop.
