San Francisco Speedway
Built by Jack Prince and Art Pillsbury in San Carlos, San Francisco Speedway
(also known as Greater San Francisco Speedway) was a 1.25 mile wooden oval
used between 11 December 1921 and 14 June 1922. It featured 38 degree banked
turns, and was destroyed by fire on the 19th June 1922. It is now the site of
an airport.
