3.675%, and a maximum downwards gradient of 5.625%.The circuit was revised between the 2015 and 2016 Malaysian Grand Prixs; turn 15 was raised by 1 metre, with the lateral gradient at -4% compared to +2% at the apex. Turns 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 12 and 13 all had their gradients altered - turn 2 being raised on the inside, and the banking being reprofiled in turn 5. The track was also resurfaced, with bumps being removed.
