Roby Speedway

Located in Hammond, Indiana (a few feet from the state line at Indianapolis Boulevard and 107th Street - I-90 goes through the site today), the track was also known as Lakeside. It was a 1 mile oiled dirt oval, and was built in 1920. The track was closed in 1936 after an accident which killed a driver and injured several spectators.
