First used in 1957, the track was set near the San Bernadino mountains east of Los Angeles. The track succumbed to LA's urban sprawl in 1988.

There were three track layouts used:-

Long Sports Car Track (3.25 miles) - From turns 1 to 6, on to 7, then 8 and 9.
Stock Car Track (2.62 miles) - From turns 1 to 6, then to 8 and on to 9.
Short Sports Car Track (2.547 miles) - From turns 1 to 7, then 7A and on to 9.

Note that after 1988, further meetings were held on a shortened version of the circuit. This shortened circuit can be seen on the above aerial photo, where a more newly built link in the circuit can be seen in the middle of the photo.
