Portland Speedway

A short track oval due to close in 2002. In 2000 it switched from being a paved oval to being a clay oval in order to attract the World of Outlaws, as it couldn't afford to make improvements to host NASCAR type racing. The owners could only get a year by year lease, so couldn't raise the finance, hence the closure.
