Oregon International Raceway
Located in Goshen, Oregon, this track was 6 miles south of Eugene on the east
side of Interstate 5. Designed by John Hugenholtz, the 2.8 mile circuit opened
on 4th June 1964, and closed in 1966. It hosted SCCA regional events, and
at some point part of the circuit was flooded. It was used afterwards, but was
described as being very rough where the flooding had taken place - the operator
did not have enough money to repave it. There were plans to build an oval and
a drag strip, but these never came to fruition.
