The 2.831 mile Grand Prix track was modified for 2002 with the inclusion of a
midfield loop, shown above, and in detail to the left. This extended the track
to 3.189 miles, and as proven in the 2002 European Grand Prix provided more
overtaking points on what was a difficult track to overtake on.
