Myrtle Beach Speedway 4300 Highway 501 Myrtle Beach, SC Tel: (843) 236-0500A 0.538 mile oval first opened in 1958, when it was known as Rambi Raceway, Rambi standing for Racing Association of Myrtle Beach Inc. It was sold to Nick Lucas in 1968, and in 1987 Billy Hardee became co-owner and paved with asphalt what had been a dirt track. The track is located four miles west of the Grand Strand, and to get there from Interstate 95 take 501 East to Myrtle Beach.
The front straight is 780 feet long with a 700 feet back straight, both banked at 5 degrees. The corners are banked at 13 degrees.
