Mission Raceway Park

In the early 1950s, the Sports Car Club of British Columbia used to run events on the runways of the Abbotsford Airstrip until in 1958 Westwood Motorsport Park was built. This ran until 1990, when the British Columbia government cancelled the long-term lease and the facility closed.

The SCCBC came to an agreement in 1992 with the British Columbia Custom Car Association, which owned and operated Mission Raceway Park, and set up a race school, incorporating the slow down section of the drag strip, the return roads, and a new section called the Club Curves. A proper road course was constructed by the spring of 1994, and club races were held in 1995. The circuit was 1.1 miles long.

The track was lengthened and reconfigured into a 1.5 mile version for 2000.
