Although car racing ceased, bike racing continued on a shortened version, which was formed from the left hand triangle of the full circuit. This version is shown above.
It was announced in 2004 that motorcycle road racing was to be stopped in Belgium by 2006. Mettet responded by creating the above permanent venue, located at the hairpin of the previous road circuit.
