Meadowlands

After a search for a suitable F1 and Indycar venue in the New York area, the grounds of the Meadowlands Sports Arena was the resulting compromise. The road course (1.682 miles) was used between 1984 and 1991, and the "Modified Oval" (1.217 miles) between 1988 and 1991. Poor crowds and track unpopularity meant that the race disappeared in 1992.
