Lawrenceville

A circuit built around the WW2 George Field, a bomber training base for the Army Air Force. The wide concrete runways and support roads were used in two different configurations - one of 3.6 miles and one of 2.7 miles. The Central Illinois region of the SCCA was the organiser of the races held from the mid-1950s through to the early 1960s.
