Kalemegdan Park
In 1939, on the day that England declared war on Germany, the Yugoslavian
Grand Prix was on the 1.734 mile cobbled street circuit in Kalemegdan Park in
Belgrade. Only five cars started, and the race was somewhat overshadowed by
events elsewhere.
