Altcar
A 2.4 km course located on the Altcar rifle range near Formby, which was first used by the Waterloo and District Motor Club on the 16th August 1947 for motorcycle trials. The course was bumpy and a mixture of dirt track and rolled ash, but was concreted by the 1950s. The course was through to 1955.
Cadwell Park
Sprint course using part of the full circuit.
Colerne
Based on the military airfield.
Kames
A purpose built sprint venue opened in 1984 near Glasgow, just off the A70 near in Muirkirk, It is 800m long.
Lydden Hill
Sprint run over one and three quarter laps.
Martlesham Heath
An airbase east of Ipswich used on the 11th April 1966 by the ECMC.
Metfield
Airfield in Suffolk to the west of Halesworth which was used by the Diss & District Light Car and Motorcycle Club
at least once in the 1950s.
Pembrey
Run both clockwise and anticlockwise in the past, now effectively runs as two laps.
Thorney Island
Former aerodrome which held the Argosy Sprint in 1967-1969.
Weston-Super-Mare
A sprint venue which used the promenade from 1968 onwards.
