A 4.400 km street circuit which was scheduled for the 1984 Spanish GP, A contract was signed between the local authorities and Mr Bernie Ecclestone mid-March 1984, but after an inspection by FIA's delegate Derek Ongaro at the end of May, the venue was dropped due to safety concerns.
