Litomysl

Motorcycle races were first held in Litomysl in 1928. On the 12th July 1947, a 1.400 km circuit on the city streets was used for motorcycle races, and was used annually through to 1950.

In 1954, a new 10.8 km circuit was used for motorcycle racing (shown in the map above), but road surfacing work meant that there was no racing in 1955. In was then used annually for motorcycle races from 1956-1958. After a gap, a 1.430 km circuit based on the 1947 variant was used in 1964-1965.

Racing returned again in 1971 on a new 12 km road circuit, featuring a 5 km straight, but it was for one year only.
