Brockton Fairgrounds

Located at Forest Avenue and Belmont Street, Brockton Fairgrounds was a 1/2 mile dirt oval first used in 1920. The track grandstands were destroyed by fire in 1936, but were later rebuilt. A 1/4 mile oval was constructed in the infield in 1940. The fairgrounds themselves were demolished in 1973.
