This circuit of 1.5 miles was based on a World War II airfield in Western Australia. It hosted one very wet meeting on the 15th October 1947, but was unusual in having a slightly longer loop for the faster cars to use. The main event held that day, the Cranston Trophy handicap race, was won by Harold Vague in a Salmson.
