Berlin Tempelhof
Located on the now decomissioned airport in the middle of Berlin, this 2.469 km
anti-clockwise circuit designed by Rodrigo Nunes was built to host a round of the
FIA Formula E championship, opening on the 23rd May 2015. The former check-in area
was used for a fan area, with drivers sat at the former check-in desks for the
autograph session.
Formula E returned to Tempelhof on the 10th June 2017, on a revised 2.277 km circuit.
2020
Following the cancellation of most Formula E races due to the Covid-19 situation, six races over three different
layouts were held. The first two races were run over the previous track, but in the reverse direction.
The following two were run in the conventional anti-clockwise direction, and the final two over a new
2.487 km layout shown below.
2024
A new 2.343 km circuit layout was used for the 2024 rounds held on the 11th-12th May. The start/finish was relocated, as well as the layout being substantially altered.
