Originally planned as a 19 turn course around the Jamsil Sports Complex, site of the 1988 Olympic Games, it was to host a round of the 2019/20 Formula E championship, but this was cancelled due to Covid 19 restrictions - the planned route is shown below. The event was eventually held on the 13th and 14th August 2022, on the 2.618 km, 22 turn circuit shown below.
