Designed by Hermann Tilke as an FIA Grade 1 circuit, it is located south of Kuwait City on Arifjan Road 40 – King Fahad Road.
Built in 2017-2018 and opened in January 2019, it is an anti-clockwise circuit, featuring rising gradients of up to 6.01% and falling gradients of 5.03%.
