b 30/8/1941 (Rome) - d 10/1/1971 (Buenos Aires)

1966 - won touring car section of European mountain-climb championship (Alfa)
1968 - sportscars (Autodelta). 2nd on Targa Florio and 4th (& class win) at
       Le Mans with Galli
1970 - 4 F1 GP (Ferrari), 3 points, J17th. (4th Belgium). Ferrari sportscars:
       won Sebring 12Hrs, Targa Florio, Rand 9 Hrs. 2nd Monza 1000km. 3rd
       Watkins Glen 6 Hrs
1971 - Killed in Buenos Aires 1000km: unsighted by another car, Giunti's
       Ferrari ploughed into the back of the Matra of Beltoise. The car
       somersaulted 200 yards down the track, bursting into flames.
       Suffering 70% burns & multiple injuries, died 2 Hrs later in hospital
